Good comes very quick and is extremely delicious. Easily THE ABSOLUTELY BEST Chinese food in all of Forest Hills, easily some of the best in all of Queens as well. Extremely flavorful food, cook to order, delivered quick... Every dish is delicious and full of flavor. More expensive then most places, but worth it 100%.

I always ask for less oil and they always pay attention which is much appreciated! I highly recommend the sliced beef with sliced peppers; its super savory (which distinguishes it from American Chinese).
The beef with cumin is delicious too; albeit a bit heavy.

Have thoroughly enjoyed ordering from The Bund more than several times already. Their top choices are amazing and recommendations are completely accurate by it's reviews. Definitely will recommend The Bund to my friends, and give it 5 stars.

Food came quick and was fresh and delicious! The chicken was tender and not overly oily and the fried rice was flavorful and not too salty. The soup dumplings were fresh, hot, and tasty. I highly recommend!

The Bund was great we ordered the eggplant in garlic sauce, slow cooked pork, pan fried pork dumplings, and beef soup. Then we watched The Office on Netflix and stuffed our faces. All of it was bomb.

Ordered the crispy spicy ginger wings, hot and sour soup, taiwanese stir fry chicken with basil and the salted pork with vegetable fried rice. Yum! The wings are fantastic, a must have. Hot and sour soup was solid. The Taiwanese stir fry chicken was a dish I'm not familiar with but it came like a stew with all the comforts of home-outstanding. The salted pork fried rice was a bit bland to my pallet but good quality. I'm so happy this pace opened up, I've been dying for good quality Chinese food around here. Will order again.

Try their specialties like rice cake, items from the chef's menu, dumplings, and all their fried menu items like fried pork chops and fried chicken! Garlic fried half chicken is good too. Green tea shrimp is my favorite! You won't get their best if you only order generic take out dishes like beef and broccoli.

What they offer that others can't in the area, that's where the yummy stuff is! Fast delivery. Always really nice and personable staff!

Soup dumplings were not hot, as to be expected with delivery, but were nevertheless good. Scrambled eggs and shrimp were nothing special but if you're looking for the watery scrambled eggs and shrimp, you wont find it here. Taro milk tea was very good but would've been better with bubbles, but I didnt see that option when ordering. Delivery was pretty fast considering they're in a neighboring city but was here in less than an hour away. Would order again.

My definte go-to resto for Chinese food. Order arrived much earlier than estimated time. Food was piping hot, fresh and delish. Only complaint was there's not a lot of meat on the pork hocks considering they cost $15-16 per order. But hey, that's not a deal breaker. Will defintely order from them again.

The Bund was founded by three good friends who shares a passion for the love of authentic Shanghainese cuisine from China. Many Americans don't realize that Shanghainese cuisine is more than just soup dumplings. Shanghai is considered as the major port city that connects east to west for over a hundred years. Today, it is considered as the number one cosmopolitan city in Asia. Shanghai is surrounded by four other major cities, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wushi, and Ningbo. Because of it's location, Shanghainese cuisine is influenced by those 4 cities. It uses local ingredients with local seafood and meat from those areas that created an extensive and colorful menu that is loved by people from all over the world. Ever since David K emigrated to New York with his parents in the early 80s he was never able to find the same type of Shanghainese cooking that he was accustomed to in Shanghai unless he went back there during family vacations. Then in 1990 David's aunt known as madam Fu, opened a 2 table restaurant inside the French concession lane house where David grew up. The restaurants Shanghainese inspired cuisine became an instant success, and 25 years later it has become the best Shanghainese restaurant in Shanghai. Today, madam Fu has 3 restaurants, Fu1088, Fu1015, and Fu1039 that won many culinary awards and recognitions. It is voted as one of the top 50 restaurants in Asia, and is visited by many movie stars and celebrities. As new yorks culinary scene exploded in the 2000s, Davids desire to bring madam Fus shanghainese dining experience to New York grew stronger everyday. Then in 2012 with the urging of his good friend Kanji from Shanghai, they decided to start exploring the possibility of making it happen in New York. Together they sought the help of David's lifelong friend Jim, and they all agreed that the best location to do it is in Forest Hills, New York. Because both David and Jim grew up in Elmhurst, Queens, they both knew the area very well. David also went to Forest Hills high school and has been living there for 25 years. Forest Hills is the neighborhood that offers the diversity and family values that all 3 partners were looking for. After deciding on the neighborhood, it took almost 2 years to find the right size and location for the Bund to operate. The premise is located at 100-28 Queens Blvd, right by the 67th Ave subway station on the south side of the Blvd. Extensive planning went into the menu selection and interior decoration. First, David and Kanji recruited 2 executive chefs from Madam Fus restaurant operation in Shanghai to come and run the kitchen at The Bund. Then they went to Shanghai and spent almost 2 month to gather artworks, furniture, tableware, and decorations to bring to New York. They want The Bund to represent the modern day dining experience in Shanghai today, it will be presented through The Bunds menu and unique interior design. It is our pleasure to bring an inspiring authentic Shanghainese cuisine to New York City. We want to thank all of our family and friends for their love and support to make it happen. Hopefully The Bund will bring out the love and excitement from Shanghainese dining to New York.
